For our brand new Belgium Branch we are looking for ambitious Business Development Manager, who are the primary points of contact for the customers, representing all our services and solutions, with focus sea/air/road freight and 3PL. In This Role, You Will Be

  • Expanding our customer base related to all modes of transport, including through acquisition, visiting customers and maintaining relationships.
  • Following market developments and share trends with the Management.
  • Co-developing and realizing strategic plans and goals.
  • Maintaining and increasing sales within the existing customer portfolio by means of leads, mapping new prospects, and working closely with internal departments and your counterparts within our international network.
  • Implementing new business, having your own network is an advantage.
  • Maintaining contacts at a strategic level within the Global Forwarding network, account management.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Over 2 years proven sales experience within forwarding or logistics.
  • Knowledge about global forwarding processes and modalities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effective present our offer to customers
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken/written) and are used to working in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of the French language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
  • Driver’s License
