Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the UAE for Abu Dhabi, with a strong background in sales and business development. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills to drive business growth and expand our market presence in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
- Identify and target potential clients to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other logistics partners.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry in the UAE.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and freight forwarding processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certification in sales or logistics management.
- Experience with export logistics and handling shipments from free zones.
