Job Summary: We are looking for a professional and courteous Receptionist / Admin who is an Emirati National to join our team in the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will manage the front desk and provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
