Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator who is fluent in Arabic to join our team in the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and supply chain management within the UAE, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the entire logistics process, including procurement, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely shipment of goods.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, including delays, damages, or lost goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Implement and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the freight forwarding industry within the UAE.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with export logistics and handling shipments from free zones.
